Cat’s Eye Pub: A Fell’s Point Landmark near Union Wharf

Cat's Eye Pub is one of those places that makes Fell's Point what it is: it's always crowded, always loud, and there's always great live music.

One visitor says it belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of Baltimore bars. The drinks are strong, cheap and come fast; the crowd is a fun mix of local characters and tourists; and the sounds are funky, jazzy, and bluesy, with some rock 'n' roll snarl. There's no food, so fill up elsewhere or have an extra draught beer. Over 40 of them rotate seasonally, plus plenty more bottles. And if you want to live large, there's a good menu of single malt Scotch and port, too.

That's not to say there's anything pretentious about Cat's Eye Pub. Quite the opposite. Regulars say it's a place that loves all and serves all, where you feel cool the second you walk in. And it's just around the corner from Union Wharf.
