B&O American Brasserie: American Splendor Near Union Wharf

Back when Baltimore was a booming railway town, these stunning Beaux Arts rooms were headquarters to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. A hundred years ago some of America's biggest fatcats hung out here; you may not be able to buy towns and railroads at will, but you can still eat like they did. The B&O Brasserie offers simple, refined, and upscale American meals; typical delights include Crispy Skin Pork Belly, Crispy Skin Rockfish, duck, crab cakes, or oysters. Don't look for invention; this perfectly executed, subtly reinvented classic dining. Regulars rave over the huge and terrific cocktail list — the signature El Oso recently won a national cocktail competition.

Take a night away from Union Wharf and bring a date. Baltimore loves it here.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. Check the B&O American Brasserie website for hours, menus, and more details.
