Get In the Harvest Spirit With These Fall Events and Activities Near Union Wharf

What's your favorite thing about autumn, Union Wharf residents? The cooler temperatures? Carving pumpkins? Halloween? Apple cider? Good news: You can enjoy all of the above at these Baltimore-area fall attractions!

1) Hallowmarine at the National Aquarium
This Baltimore institution, which is home to 20,000 animals representing more than 700 species, will host its annual Hallowmarine festival on Oct. 31. Taking place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event promises a number of family-friendly activities, such as a costume parade. Stick around to watch the divers carve pumpkins underwater!

2) Ghost Tours & Haunted Attractions [Visit Maryland]
Thrill and chills more your speed? The official tourism website of Maryland, Visit Maryland, lists several spooky-scary events on its website. They run the gamut from guided ghost tours to haunted houses, with highlights being Bennett's Curse Haunted House and Baltimore Wicked History Tours. Both attractions are close to Union Wharf.

3) Baltimore's Best Pumpkin Patches [CBS Baltimore]
Wholesome harvest fun awaits at Baltimore-area family farms, which play host to pumpkin patches, hay rides, corn mazes, and other seasonal attractions every autumn. Located in Parkville, MD, Weber's Farm is particularly popular, as it doubles as a cider mill that churns out fresh-pressed apple cider daily between the months of September and December. The cider mill, according to the Weber's Farm website, is the "oldest cider mill in continuous use in Maryland."
