Lake Roland encompasses over 500 acres of property, including dozens of trails, a dog park, pavilions, and more. Here, you can take part in a variety of waterfront activities like canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. By working in partnership with the Lake Roland Nature Council, Baltimore County provides their citizens with this outstanding park that is open every day of the week.
Lake Roland hosts programs and events that are offered periodically, incuding fun and educational nature programs for both children and adults. The property also houses Paw Point Dog Park, which is a fenced-in acre of land for dogs to run free and have fun with their owners. The dog park is fully equipped with benches, trash cans, and even dispensable bags to keep the grounds clean. Canoeing and kayaking is also welcomed on Lake Roland, and visitors love coming out and treading the water with friends on warm days.
