Serving artfully presented sushi in a hip, modern, four-story building, XS is a stand-out restaurant in the area. The sushi is what they’re famous for and you can sample great specials throughout the week at spectacular prices.
Tuesdays offer half-priced Maki from 4 p.m. until close, while happy hour offers $1 hot sake and two-for-one pieces of sushi and sashimi from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. every Monday through Friday. Sushi enthusiasts will love working their way through the specialty maki menu featuring tempting combinations like their fried Godzilla Roll, full of spicy tuna, avocado, spicy mayo and eel sauce.
Sushi isn’t all they offer at XS. In fact, they even open for breakfast where you can get a breakfast crab cake or Sunrise Panini Melt to eat in or take out. For lunch or dinner, take a trip around the Asian continent with their noodle menu, with options like Indonesian noodles, Thai drunken noodle and Hong Kong noodles. Although this is more of an adult hangout, if you do bring the kids, they can certainly partake in the upscale grilled cheese options available.
