Take in Some Baltimore History at Federal Hill Park

Federal Hill Park is a signature Baltimore landmark. Located south of downtown and a short walk from the Inner Harbor, Federal Hill Park offers beautiful views of the Inner Harbor and a beautiful space to spend some time outdoors.

Take in history as you walk around Federal Hill Park and get a close look at the monuments commemorating the Battle of Baltimore in 1814, including the cannons that were once manned and used for battle. Check out Flag Staff Plaza, an area adorned with miniature historic icons that reflect the rich history of Baltimore and Maryland. The plaza includes a miniature Federalist ship, the Signal Hill Tower, and miniature replicas of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad engine and roundhouse. The park also has a basketball court, a gated playground for children and park bench seating and picnic tables.

Federal Hill Park is open daily 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
