Hang Out at Power Plant Live This Weekend

Baltimore’s Inner Harbor is an excellent example of how a city can reinvent itself in the 21st Century, and Power Plant Live is a prime attraction. Power Plant Live has transformed an old power station for the city’s trolley system into one of Baltimore’s pre-eminent dining and entertainment destinations.

Anchored by a rather large Barnes & Noble and notable for the large Hard Rock Cafe guitar sign on the roof, the Power Plant now includes a range of shops, bars, and restaurants. You can dine at a large outdoor beer garden, try some of Baltimore’s favorite pizza, or have a few drinks at Ram’s Head or Tin Roof. Places like Angels Rock Bar and Mosaic also host live entertainment throughout the week. It’s hard to beat the location—this place is an easy walk from the ballpark, the football stadium, several downtown businesses, and the Inner Harbor’s museums and attractions, all accessible via the Shot Tower Metro stop.
