Waterfront Wellness of Baltimore: Take Advantage of Free Outdoor Fitness Classes
If you want to get fit, save money, and have a good excuse to spend time outdoors each weekend, the Waterfront Wellness of Baltimore series can help you out with all three. It brings the Baltimore community free exercise classes all summer long, led by local fitness instructors. The classes unfold every Saturday and Sunday morning at West Shore Park through September 16th.
The fun begins at 7 a.m. every Saturday morning with a yoga session hosted by the fitness gurus from Brick Bodies, and all levels are welcome. That’s followed by an 8 a.m. boot camp class, a more challenging routine designed by XPF personal trainers, and a Dance2Fitness session at 9 a.m. featuring fast-paced cardio dance. Then on Sunday at 7 a.m., Yogaworks brings an all-levels Vinyasa flow to the park, followed by family yoga at 8 a.m. Cool down with a beginner-friendly run with Charm City Run at 9 a.m. The guided run is anywhere from two to four miles long, and the pace is up to you.
