Monday, February 17th is swiftly approaching, so get ready for a long weekend, some downtime, and much needed R&R. Instead of just sitting home and binging Netflix, get out and explore the city!

On that note, here are some fun things to do with your time-off in Baltimore!

Wintry Get-Aways
Winter will be ending soon, so spend a day at the slopes! These resorts are about 90 minutes away, but they are definitely worth the trip, (especially with an extra day off!).

Liberty Mountain Resort
Liberty Mountain Resort has 16 snow tubing lanes and 15 trails for snowboarding and skiing — all of which are lit for night skiing!

WhiteTail Resort
WhiteTail is an astounding ski resort, with 2 terrain parks, 23 trails, and a top elevation of 1800’!

Beyond skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing, WhiteTail Resort is offering events all-weekend-long! Here are some things to look forward to at their President’s Day Weekend events: a torchlit parade, sushi, and retail sales!

8th Annual Sour Wild Ale Day
Stop by Max’s Taphouse from 11:00 a.m. until midnight to sample their expansive ale collection! In fact, there will be over 60 bottles and 60 drafts.

Don’t miss out! There will be NO entrance fee!

Monday – All Day Happy Hour
At Nacho Mama’s, from 11:00 a.m. until midnight, there will be an All-Day Happy Hour!

What does that entail? $6 Nachos, Chili con Queso, Guacamole, Quesadillas, and Tacos! There also having $5 Margaritas, $2 Natty Bohs, and $1 Off all Local Draft Beers.

President’s Day Brunch
The Point in Fell’s is offering a President’s Day Brunch from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.! For four hours, there will be:

$15 Bottomless Mimosas, Sangria, Bloody Marys, Screwdrivers, and Bud Light Draft

$25 Bottomless Truly-osas, (Truly drafts with any juice mixers!)

Margarita Making Class at Vida Taco Bar
Come celebrate your day off on Monday, February 17th, from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with Vida Taco Bar!

Baltimore National Aquarium

Maryland Zoo
This winter, the Maryland Zoo will be open Fridays to Mondays from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and tickets only cost $12/person, (perfect for President’s Day Weekend!).

The animals that you may encounter this President’s Day Weekend are: prairie dogs, polar bears, grizzly bears, arctic foxes, a bald eagle, penguins, leopards, bobcats, cheetahs, otters, chimps, lemurs, rhinos, and more!

Proceeds will also go to urban conservation efforts and sustainability projects to protect diminishing and damaged ecosystems.

Witness Art, Culture, and History
This upcoming holiday weekend, stop by these amazing art museums and witness history and culture.

American Visionary Art Museum
Witness over 4,000 international artworks on the first and second floors and the world-renowned 38-foot-wide Bird’s Nest Balcony on the third floor!

Their 2020 exhibit is The Secret Life of Earth: Alive! Awake! (and Possibly Really Angry!), bringing awareness to how capitalism impacts climate change and various ecosystems. Fitting, as it is President’s Day Weekend.
