With locations all over Baltimore and throughout Maryland, you can visit these stunning views and absorb all of the illuminated displays during the peak holiday season. Christmas Street

Located in Hampden, visit 34th Street for their 73rd Year of celebrating the holidays with twinkling lights and festive decorations. With vendors helping brighten the night, including Chef Bobby D Catering and Cafe Hon, experience Miracle on 34th Street in person! 

Maryland Zoo

Lions, and tigers, and Zoo Lights, oh my! Until January 2nd, you can view the brilliant spectacle of festive lights at the zoo. Drive or walk through the animal-shaped lights that bring the zoo and its inhabitants to life with a wide display of colors. Each ticket goes to supporting the Zoo’s conservation efforts, making your holiday experience a gift in itself. 

Lights on the Bay

Join the SPCA of Anne Arundel County at Sandy Point State Park until January 2nd. This traditional and scenic drive along the Chesapeake Bay will be a sight for sore eyes. Order tickets per car, and make sure you order your 3D glasses to see the animated displays right before your life. 

Festival of Lights

Every night until January 2nd, visit Watkins Regional Park as you drive through 3 miles worth of iridescent lights. If driving your car does not suit your fancy, perhaps taking a Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride will elicit the holiday spirit in a luxurious and festive way. Tickets can be purchased online to avoid extended wait times and to ensure spots are saved!

The Garden of Lights

Brookside Gardens is back again for their 23rd year of hosting The Garden of Lights. Walk through stunning light displays and flowerbeds in Wheaton. With radiant lights depicting various walks of life, including animals and flowers, the holiday spirit is brought to life before your eyes. Open every night through January 2nd, order tickets now to experience the ambient atmosphere of Brookside Gardens this holiday. 

Merriweather Symphony of Lights

For over 25 years, the Howard County Tradition continues to light up the night for families everywhere. Drive or walk through dazzling lights that embody the holiday spirit, or join a contest in search of letters to figure out a secret phrase and win a prize. Now until January 2nd, order your tickets to this beloved event before it sells out. 

Winterfest of Lights

The Winterfest of Lights returns with another splendid event full of a brightly lit walking path to commemorate the holidays this season. Take a trip to Ocean City to see its stunning holiday decorations and animated displays in Northside Park. With the opportunity to drink hot cocoa and take photos with Santa, this award-winning holiday event will be unforgettable. 

Sailing Through the Winter Solstice 

Every year, an abundance of boats set sail on the Creek in Fredericksburg. Decorated with holiday lights and glowing ambiently on the water, this unique event features over 25 staggering boats. Now until November 20th, visit Carroll Creek Park for free to witness the majesticness of these brightly lit ships as they float in the Creek. 

Gaithersburg

Open nightly from November 26th until December 31st, drive through the 3.5-mile path lit up by holiday lights and decorations. The drive through Seneca Creek Park is complete with over 450 illuminated displays, giving you the opportunity to take in the scenic path from the warmth of your own vehicle.
