That’s right, National Mimosa Day is on Monday, May 16th.

Since the early 1920s, Australia has been mixing up mimosas. (The name is derived from the yellow Aussie flower.) Equal parts Prosecco to orange juice, a mimosa is a crisp and fruity beverage. Some note, however, that the mimosa is also associated with Buck’s Fizz Cocktail from Buck’s Club in London.
Two decades later, Alfred Hitchcock popularized the mimosa within the States.

Clink! Time to get a glass—or two. You can even celebrate National Mimosa Day a day early with bottomless mimosas at Sunday brunch.
All You Can Drink
Little Havana in Federal Hill is celebrating National Mimosa Day on Sunday, May 15th. From 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., bottomless mimosas and bloodies are $15/person for two hours.
Additionally, Huck’s American Craft in Brewers Hill is offering all-you-can-drink mimosas, as well as Bloody Marys, screwdrivers, Bloody Bohs, and Natty Bohs, for $7 on Saturday and Sunday.
By the Glass
Have a nice day drink at Miss Shirley’s Cafe in the Inner Harbor. Enjoy a refreshing glass of champagne and freshly-squeezed orange juice with pulp. The glass is garnished with a strawberry and orange slice.
Iron Rooster in Canton and Locust Point offers glasses of mimosas with fresh OJ for $8.50. Besides their glasses, they’re selling make-your-own mimosa kits.
The Outpost in Federal Hill serves brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Their mimosas “with the usual suspects” are about $8/glass.
Carafe
Can’t decide between bottomless and a glass? Grab a carafe right here in Fells Point at the Choptank. On Sunday, brunch with mimosas for just $12. Guests can enjoy a carafe with blood orange purée, raspberries, fresh OJ, and sparkling wine.
