You don’t have to travel to have an amazing summer! There’s plenty to do right here in Baltimore. Here are some ideas to change up your typical routine right here in Charm City:
- Fitness
Skip your typical indoor gym routine and get a workout in under the sun. The Four Seasons has a luxe pool pilates class. Or, grab your friends and head to Baltimore Beach for some volleyball. You can also get some laps in right here at Union Wharf’s zero-edge infinity pool. Just don’t forget sunscreen!
- Entertainment
Swap Netflix for a movie under the stars at AVAM’s outdoor movie series, Flicks on the Hill. Before the movie starts, the museum is open with free admission, and food trucks are parked outside. Or, go watch an Orioles Game at Camden Yards rather than turning it on at home. You can eat a ballpark hotdog, do the wave, and root for the home team. Try a Harbor Cruise from Baltimore Water Taxi. They have BYOB cruises every Friday-Sunday departing from Fell’s Point.

Outdoor dining is another great thing to take advantage of in the summer. Sit on the deck at Captain James crab house for steamed crabs with a harbor view. For something sweet, try Pitango Gelato in Fell’s Point, or get a scoop from Bmore Licks. They have over 30 flavors, including summer specials, like Strawberry Rhubarb and S’mores. Plus, it’s not summer in Charm City without snowballs from Crushed Velvet. It’s the perfect way to stay cool and treat yourself on a weeknight.
